STYLE TO SPARE
Brooklyn's Gang Gang Dance have taken some strange gigs in the past, but perhaps none more so than last fall's Fashion Week, when they shared their experimental, ambient post-rock with a crowd of lacquered pretty people at the Erin Wasson for RVCA runway show. It speaks of their malleability (even if the clothes spoke of overpriced Americana gaucherie), as this relatively new collective (formed in 2004) skips between genres and structures freely, cleaving electro and worldbeat elements together with ease. Together, they're building us a smarter dance party. With DJ/rupture.
