You know that feeling of regret and guilt you get when the check comes after a huge meal and you think, Did I really eat and drink all that? But wait, would it help your digestion to know that all that money went to charity? At A Taste of Home, a benefit brought to you by Housing Works who host awesome events to help New Yorkers living with AIDS and HIV, you can indulge in two hours of unlimited wine, beer, espresso, and food, knowing that your cash is going to a worthy cause. This night of dining and drinks, hosted by Gail Simmons, features top chefs Brad Farmerie (of PUBLIC, the Monday Room, Double Crown & Madam Geneva), Michael Anthony (of Gramercy Tavern), Elizabeth Karmel (of Hill Country Barbecue), and Alexandra Guarnaschelli (of Butter Restaurant). Making the evening even more divine is the chance to win cool prizes and one-on-ones with these featured chefs.
