For those obsessed with iPhones, iPods, iPads, and iWhatever-else-is-out-there, master storyteller Mike Daisey might make you think twice before you make your next Apple purchase. In his new unscripted rant, The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, Daisey exposes the dark side of our favorite technology company with anecdotes from his trip to the Foxconn factory in China, which was in the news last year after numerous employees committed suicide. Mixing comedy and guerrilla-style journalism (he posed as an American businessman to get inside the factory), he describes the actual conditions in which Apple products are made and at what price. His wife, Jean-Michele Gregory, directs.
Mondays-Sundays. Starts: Oct. 10. Continues through Nov. 13, 2011
