Back when Tensnake was making a name for himself by remixing Lana Del Rey and the Pet Shop Boys, he never thought Nile Rodgers would ever respond to one of his Facebook messages, much less agree to work with him. But that’s exactly what happened when, a few years later, the German producer born Marco Niemerski sent the legendary musician his forthcoming debut full-length, Glow. No surprises there: It doesn’t take a skilled musician to appreciate Niemerski’s deft fusion of deep house and disco on tracks like “Love Sublime,” featuring Rodgers’ instantly recognizable guitar signature.
