Anyone who's attempted trainer Jillian Michaels's workout video 30 Day Shred knows that doing something physical every day for a month might sound easy, but it sure as hell isn't. Canadian Paul-André Fortier does the contemporary dance version of that workout challenge in Solo 30x30, a 30-minute piece he'll perform every day at noon on an outdoor plaza in the Financial District. Come rain, shine, or sweltering, blistering heat and humidity, Fortier plans to repeat the site-specific performance for New Yorkers for 30 days as part of the River to River Festival. Jillian would be so proud of this guy's lunges.
