Brooklyn's music scene just got a little more incestuous with the formation of the Babies, a lo-fi Americana project composed of Vivian Girls member Cassie Ramone and Woods bassist Kevin Morby, plus Bent Outta Shape's Nathanael Stark and Bossy's Justin Sullivan. Tracks such as "Meet Me in the City" and "All Things Come to Pass" start off as lilting folk songs and build to a frenzied art rock stammer. Consider it the high school jam session you're finally cool enough to attend.
