'The Bunker Presents Monolake+Scion'
Chain Reaction's biggest names bring their seminal minimal, dubby techno to a special Queens installment of the Bunker. Robert Henke designed dance music's most popular software, Ableton Live; as Monolake, he's defined sparse, bass-heavy techno. His "Live Surround" project, presented tonight, reinvents club music as a four-channel stereo experience—-that sounds incredibly dorky, but we have no doubt this will be amazing. DJ Pete (a/k/a Substance) and Rene Lowe (a/k/a Vainqueur) perform individual DJ sets and collaborate for a live set under their Scion guise.
