Andy Warhols double-screen epic is a superb talkathon featuring a half dozen or more definitive superstar appearances, including turns by Marie Mencken, Mary Woronov, Brigid Polk (Manny Farbers hippopotamus of sin) and the self-proclaimed Pope Ondine. Its astonishing commercial success marked the end of the 1960s New York underground.
