The Dutchess & the Duke
The Dutchess & the Duke's bittersweet folk songs belie what a fun live band they are. Vocalists Jesse Lortz and Kimberly Morrison have been playing music together since 2002 and have the familiarity (and the fuck-all attitude) to playfully chide each other's foibles between songs. But when they come together to sing delicate ballads such as "Hands" or their bouncy garage rocker "Reservoir Park," Lortz's and Morrison's voices intertwine the way only old friends' can. With Common Prayer and Arms.
