Love Parade was first movie musical with integrated songs, as well as a star-making vehicle for Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette MacDonald as a lusty pair of Ruritarian aristosand Lubitsch too, initiating the succession of sophisticated comedies hed make at Paramount.
