Miz Jackson is going on the road again with one simple, satisfying promise: just the hits. And she has plenty: the ‘Janet Jackson Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour,’ which lands at Radio City for four nights this week, will cull setlists solely from the 35 tracks on her Number Ones album. So, “Control” into “All for You” into “Nasty” into “That’s the Way Love Goes”? Buckle up, Rhythm Nation, you’re about to plumb Inception-level depths of losing your mind. This tour marks Jackson’s first since 2008’s Rock Witchu jaunt, which was plagued by the singer’s health problems, so this will be the comeback pop spectacle of the year. It’s pretty great to have her back, isn’t it?
