A period wonderland from the Summer of Love, this cautionary commercial for LSD is in some ways irresistibly comic and in others a less pretentious, more critical evocation of the Now than its obvious model Blow Up. Peter Fonda stars but Dennis Hopper steals the show as a snickering, stoned Timothy Leary type.
