Three tousled lads from Loughborough, UK, got their hands on a Modern Lovers album and have created their own gawky, bass-inflected songs that drunkenly two-step all over their Wilde-ian social critiques. "I Loved You Like a Madman" is their swooning come-on ("I'll buy you bras instead of pickled eggs/ Next time I remember your birthday," sings David Tattersall in Jonathan Richmond's throaty yelp), but their latest offering, Play Some Pool, is an album of Springsteen covers.
