THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS
In the new comedy, The Sitter, Jonah Hill stars as an out-of-luck (suspended) college student desperate to make a buck. After getting coerced into child-sitting, he finds himself in a melee that involves drug dealers and a wild chase through Manhattan. Sound familiar? Director of The Sitter David Gordon Green, who is also a BAM Cinema Club chair, curated the movie series Adventures in the ’80s, a selection of films from the “Me Decade” that inspired his latest film—including Adventures in Babysitting, Uncle Buck, and, tonight’s feature, Risky Business—which all explore one common theme: young suburbanites getting in over their heads.
