Tim Hecker's brand of drone is enveloping, suffocating, all-encompassinga gorgeous blanket of laptop fuzz that engulfs the listener. Opener Grouper is a mushier affair, a ethereal songwriter who drowns her melodies in delicious tape-damaged muck and blasts of reverb. With Julianna Barwick.
