With no less a weirdo authority than Beck doing the metaphorical torch pass on Maniac Meat, his second solo effort, Black Moth Super Rainbow frontman Tobacco can probably kick his feet up on an ostrich and eat a backwards laser beam sandwich, content in the knowledge that his particular warbled take on disintegrated psych and beat-infused electronic pulp will be the soundtrack to a summer soaked in oil and WTF-ness. As it should be: With jams such as "Unholy Demon Rhythms," "Fresh Hex" (sup, Beck), and "New Juices from the Hot Tub Freaks," Meat makes hopped-up boho dancing what's for dinner. Come hungry, leave happy.
