Many DJs operating at the intersection of electronic music and traditional pop enjoy a certain amount of mainstream visibility, and one can only hope that Norwegian DJ Todd Terje ascends similar heights. His bubbly Italo-disco has an undeniable celebratory energy and humanity that's all too rare in American EDM, with recognizable reference points to dance eras still popular enough to fill the vast floor at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple in this U.S. live debut with fellow disco tinkerer Lindstrom.
