Now that Eli Manning is the highest-paid quarterback in football, hed better start playing like it—and this would be a good time to start: The Giants-Redskins rivalry is as fierce as any in football. New Yorks 2008 record of 12-4 was a disappointment, even though it was an improvement from the previous year. The reason: no Super Bowl. Washington was 8-8 last year and has plans to improve in 2009. Both teams have strong defenses—the Redskins gave up only two more points during the regular season than the Giants did. The difference this year will be in the passing game, and Eli must find a new primary target now that Plaxico Burress is gone. If trekking to the Meadowlands is too arduous or expensive, we recommend the Stumble Inn (1454 Second Avenue, 212-650-0561) for its soon-to-be-famous original stuffed burger washed down with one of their 14 draft beers. With a roomy interior and 17 HDTVs, this is a great spot to root for your team.
