One of the coolest things about the summer is watching movies on rooftopscourtesy of Rooftop Films, of course. But what does one do in the winter . . . watch movies (gasp!) alone?! Never fearRooftop Films presents Trapped in the Tunnel, which takes the pleasure of movie viewing down into the spookiness of the Atlantic Avenue Tunnel. Fittingly, all the short films Saturday night have a sinister theme, from Daylight Hole, a movie about a man who descends to a life of solitude underground only to realize he isnt alone, to Covered Tracks, which looks into Manhattans underground homeless city. On Sunday is the program titled "Tunnel of Love," four short films about love and sex. Before the screenings begin, take a tour of the tunnel, and stay for the after-party at nearby Last Exit (136 Atlantic Avenue), with complimentary Sailor Jerry Rumyum. Please note that all movie attendees will have to sign a liability waiver before entering the tunnel. Yikes?
