'Turrbotax' w/ Oneman+Ikonika+Jam City
Turrbotax imports a big bill for their third anniversary, and Oneman’s a perfect match, bringing in classics and new cuts from any bass-based genre you’d like to namedrop. Ikonika made garage-esque, funky dubstep for the darkly creative Hyperdub and quirky Planet Mu labels before she lent that track to Azealia Banks for “Neptune.” One of Night Slugs’ best, Jam City turns UK bass into a house-y, synthetic grime riot.
