Playwright Suzan-Lori Parks's 2002 Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Topdog/Underdog explored the lives of two brothers and their troubled upbringing. In her latest, The Book of Grace, this masterful writer again returns to family dysfunction and themes of revenge and betrayal in a story about a young man who returns home to South Texas to confront his father. James MacDonald directs the cast of Amari Cheatom, John Doman, and Elizabeth Marvel. Note that the play contains adult content and sexually explicit imagery.
Tuesdays-Fridays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2:30 & 7:30 p.m. Starts: March 2. Continues through April 4, 2010
