Unsound Festival Presents Vladislav Delay'
An assortment of European cultural agencies bring arty electronica stateside. Vladislav Delay, the Finnish abstract-techno master perhaps better known in his house guise, Luomo, kicks off the ten-day festival with a live set accompanying visuals by Berlin video artist Lillevan. Then German producer Sebastian Meissner (a/k/a Klimek) and Polish classicists Kwartludium team up to smarten up the songs of Black Flag, Bad Brains, Hüsker Dü, Sonic Youth, and others from the SST back catalog.
