Josh Wink started out making Hi-NRG in the '80s and achieved his real fame with 1995’s acidic “Higher State of Consciousness” but his recent forays into minimal techno have been solidand the Ovum boss’s fluid taste and impeccable mixing lead Verboten to keep bringing him up from Philadelphia. Curtis Jones may be most visible as the green-haired goof that is electro-afro-punk’s Green Velvet, but as Cajmere he’s concocted unforgettable Chicago jack classics like “Percolator.” With Chris Love, AB Logic, and visuals by Walking Dream.
