'Verboten' w/ Soul Clap+Wolf + Lamb
Soul Clap offer up an uncommonly friendly version of house music, strongly influenced by ‘90s R&B, ‘80s electronic pop, and ‘70s funk and disco. Little surprise, then, that the Boston-raised, Miami-residing duo’s long-awaited debut album, EFUNK, channels George Clinton and covers Egyptian Lover. Local pals Wolf + Lamb not only co-helmed a DJ Kicks mix with Soul Clap, they also released EFUNK on their eponymous label. With video by Waking Dream.
