Oscar Wilde once wrote that "most people are other people," a mantra that always underlies a Dances of Vice party. Tonight at The Importance of Being Wilde, the city's dandies, fops, and vamps will channel their inner Victorians and kiss a shrine to the granddaddy of them all—the Irish writer himself. Wilde's 155th birthday will be celebrated with emcee Mister Burton, glam rockers Michael T & the Vanities, serpent dancer Nikki le Villain, the dancers of Company XIV, and Victorian sketch comedies and puppetry by the Royal Baritarian Players. Don't even think about not coming in costume.
