In 2011, Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter Gotye released “Somebody That I Used to Know,” one of the most heart-wrenching alt-pop songs in recent years. Though it wasn’t just the painful lyrics that got attention; it was the music video — and you know it’s huge when Saturday Night Live parodies it. In the video, Australian artist Emma Hack painted Gotye and singer Kimbra to blend into the intricate wallpaper; the shoot took 23 hours to complete. Hack’s solo exhibition, titled “Undercover,” includes new and past works and also features her painting a live subject in the gallery.
Mondays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.; Sundays, noon. Starts: Feb. 12. Continues through March 12, 2014
