WHATS UP, SHORTY?
Were going to make this short. The fourth annual New York City Short Film Festival (NYC Shorts) is back, featuring a stellar array of 29 films from across the globe. Among tonights selections: Ben Hakims The Elevator, in which two strangersa dude and dudetteget stuck together for 23 minutes and are changed for life; Thomas Hefferons The Confession, about a young man who tries to confess his sins to a priest whod rather gossip about the local ladies; and Juho Kuosmanens Roadmarkers, about a world where people use violence rather than words to express feelings. Saturday includes a kids program at noon.
