Woods are endearing, rough-around-the-edges folkie rockers from Brooklyn. The dude's lead vocals are sunny and inviting and pitched way up high (kinda like that guy you swear is a girl, Death Vessel), and the music is mellow and jammy. Aside from the Devendra and psych-rock influences, one can guess they like a lot of lo-fi indie (Sebadoh, Dino Jr.) as well. Tonight should be fun, as it is in a fancy pants museum; no shoes, no shirt=no mangy rock serviced in a high-brow setting. With Yellow Fever.
