World Unite/Lucifer Youth Foundation (Wu Lyf) exist at the core of a fantastically visual marketing campaign: cryptic live footage, artful videos, and crazed stills that capture a gang on a corner in white kerchiefs, salutes raised to their cause. It's alluring in the new manner of the Internet, where all these packets of information refuse to complete a full picture. As for the jams: a boy sings harshly through a rusted, pleading throat, and guitars chime like arms beat to breastbones. Organs search for hymns as the cymbals crash down. As for what's known, their debut drops in June. With Wise Blood and True Womanhood.
