New Yorkers have little call for butlers these days, yet a man in a natty suit who addresses you with extraordinary politeness and fetches whiskies seems a delightful household appurtenance. Maybe playwright Amy Fox agrees as her comedy about siblings, orphans, and coincidence features several Scottish butlers.
