Taking a cue of sorts from pity metallers Anvil, DIY punk heroes Youth Brigade are screening a documentary about themselves before they play a set. Thankfully, they have a better story than that band: After forming in L.A. in 1980, the group released their debut full-length, Sound & Fury, on their own BYO (Better Youth Organization) Records. Soon after, they were featured in the classic punk doc Another State of Mind. And in between the band's on-again, off-again status, that label would release records by the Unseen, Leatherface, and even Rancid. So, unlike Anvil, this round is a true victory lap. No regrets. With the Scandels and TV Tramp.
