House fanatics will be in heaven by the end of this week, since there’s more house-heavy events going on than can be printed in this space. Two parties take it back to the old school for those who want a little nostalgia in their life. The Shelter folks host a special tribute to the Paradise Garage with original Garage residents David Depino and Joey Llanos, plus New Jersey’s Kevin Hedge (of Blaze fame). And for those partiers who stay late, expect an extra-sweet performance from the outlandish, eccentric, and unstoppable Grace Jones, who also used to be a Garage regular. Saturday @ midnight, Vinyl, 6 Hubert, 343-1379.

The recently rejuvenated weekly Dance Ritual, home to “Little” Louie Vega, presents an extraordinary lineup with an all-Masters At Work showstopper. In addition to Vega, Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez works the wheels of steel; the night is topped off by an appearance from the Nuyorican Soul Band, and an all-star ensemble that includes Roy Ayers, Lynae, Wunmi, and Nas-T. Not to be missed. Wednesday @ 10, Centro-Fly, 45 W 21st, 627-7770

The ‘Fly is also ground zero for the Billboard Dance Music Summit. Subliminal Sessions tops itself again with resident Roger Sanchez, plus DJ Paulette, Rhythm Masters, and resident jock and Subliminal Records boss Erick Morillo on the decks. Downstairs in the “Pinky,” 2step flows freely from the records of Stanton Warriors as well as New York’s favorite U.K. imports, MJ Cole and Artful Dodger. Thursday @ 10, Centro-Fly, 45 W 21st, 627-7770.
