I hear that Justin Timberlake, the star-quality-laden co-frontman of the smash teenybopper group ‘N Sync, has just landed a plum role that will give him realness, credibility, and even a movie career: the lead in the Spike Lee-directed film version of Rent, that Pulitzer-winning musical about love, drag, and AIDS in the East Village. Say bye bye bye to ‘N Sync? No, just hi hi hi to a whole new world of possibility for Justin (whom I first noticed on Star Search, by the way).
Michael Musto is on vacation.
