WASHINGTON, D.C.—Islamabad sources are reporting intense American military activity inside Pakistan. American air force personnel are at bases in Quetta and Peshawar, according to The Frontier Post. FBI and CIA teams are inside Pakistan, and Pakistan has turned over to the agencies suspects who have links to Al Qaida. While Pakistan has heretofore said it was banning American military operations on its soil, the U.S. reportedly offered to cover costs and has removed sanctions.
