It was entirely made up. Conservative bloggers: find me a single instance of John Kerry saying he was the candidate of “conservative values.”
What he said was that Democrats had their own values. Fairness. Economic justice. Tolerance. Government transparency.
That became the occasion for presidential mockery, and yet one more presidential lie.
