We considered keeping this from you, dear reader, but our love for mankind got the better of us. Walking down 32nd Street the other night, we were struck with an intense feeling that awesomeness was nearby. It was Ppocha, an upstairs bar in Koreatown, where the soju flows and the snacks are designed to make a person very, very thirsty. The broiled mackerel has crisp skin and perfectly tender flesh. It’s also extremely salty and comes with soy sauce–just for good measure.
