EL-P To Play Urban Outfitters in July

Since SOTC’s been on the upcoming show-info tip today, thought it might make sense to tell you this: El-P is playing a benefit for New Haven’s WNHU 88.7 FM next month . . . in an Urban Outfitters.

Status Ain’t Hood says that El-P’s “not all that irritating” live (a compliment, it seems), so it might be worth your pride. All you have to do to get in is show up early on Saturday, July 14 and print out “an official event invitation” that’ll be available here. Think they’ll have ‘EVERYBODY LOVES AN INDIE GIRL’ T-shirts on sale, special for the show?
