8 Plays a Week

In a Dark, Dark House: It’s going to be big! Well, this big.

My mothers’ visiting, so I’m trying to keep my rota of dysfunctional family plays to a minimum. Only two this week. Tonight I see the first, Riverdale to Riverhead at Studio Dante. Tomorrow I’m off to a rock’n’roll show. Sunday it’s Badge, about a boy scout gone bad, at the Rattlestick. On Monday I see Lear deBessonet’s St. Joan of the Stockyards. I didn’t love her last show, Transfigures, but am very eager top see what she’ll do next. And then on Wednesday, it’s the second family drama. Neil Labute’s In a Dark Dark House. I may not like Labute so much, but I like Ron Livingston plenty.
