A New Cuisine Comes to the Bronx

by

Just when you were getting bored of the same old ethnic foods, there’s a new cuisine in town, or at least, there’s a new restaurant, and it seems to be the only spot for Garifunan food. Garifuna are Coastal Caribbeans of African and Native American descent, and Garifuna Star is making some pretty delicious sounding food, like a curry-esque soup and a fufu-esque plantain dish. You can thank Chowhound for this find.
