Meet Bradley Dieffenbacher, a 32-year-old former math teacher at JHS 190 in Queens who was busted for engaging in sexually explicit behavior “with eight of his former or present male students,” according to Queens DA Richard Brown. Dieffenbacher “had online contact with 12 and 13-year-old boys, directed them to pornographic websites, and engaged in sexually explicit conversations with them,” according to an investigation by the office of Special Commissioner of Investigation Richard J. Condon.
Dieffenbacher also used a webcam to observe at least one of his victims masturbate at his command, Condon said. Dieffenbacher, a nine-year veteran teacher from Levittown, was arraigned on charges of one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, three counts of Attempted Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, one count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, three counts of Attempted Promoting of a Sexual Performance by a Child and eight counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
He faces up to 15 years if prison is these allegation are proven in court.
