If you feel like all the voyeuristic thrills of reality TV have grown stale, then the Moth Grand Slam Championship, an always-sold-out battle of the wits, could be your answer. Twice a year, the contest features 10 real-life tales from a lineup of terrific storytellers, all of them winners of the Moth’s bimonthly slams around the city. Tonight, each performer gets five minutes to spin a yarn from the theme “Uphill Battles” for an engaging program of stories that should range from the heartbreaking to the hilarious.
