Underground urban talent and good eats are both on the menu at the Mixture Gallery, opening at Paloma, a Brooklyn restaurant that pays special homage to local artists and is owned and run by Top Chef’s Camille Becerra. “Mixture” showcases the collaborative works of international DJ Kimyon, who runs his own music and art-production company, and shadow artist Ellis G, famous for his chalk outlines of thousands of objects across Brooklyn. Together, these two have combined their love for music and graffiti art to produce works that have been exhibited all over the city and beyond. Tonight, you’ll have a chance to see their latest video and art installations and paintings.
