The nice thing about roller disco is that, if you can actually skate decently, it doesn’t really matter that you’re a terrible dancer—everyone looks smoother on wheels. So lace ’em up and hit Down & Derby’s disco edition, which, judging by the sample mix on its website, will have you going around and around in super-short shorts and sweatbands. DJ Nugget, Anthony Batista, and Lindsey of Negroclash spin your favorite pop artists, everyone from Gwen Stefani and Neneh Cherry to Faith No More and ABBA. (Just watch where you aim those dance kicks.) Guys should wear tube socks, tank tops, and wristbands (and don’t forget the killer ’stache), and the ladies—well, they’ll look fly regardless.
