Hide your kids: Nacothequers are heading to Brooklyn. That’s right, los fabulosos DJs Amylu and Marcelo, of Nacotheque (the ultra-indie party en Espanish), are leaving the cozy confines of Chinatown and signaling their devoted followers to crawl out of Fontana’s murky basement and head out into the Brooklyn sunlight. The picnic is an all-out fiesta with barbecue on the grill and even piñatas! The duo has invited the very best in multilingual electro musica, including the French rock ’n’ pop twosome Stereo Total and Brooklyn’s own avant-garde group, Something in Spanish. Amylu and Marcelo will be spinning the coolest in Latin indie, with DJ Soulkitten churning out Italian post-punk and French pop.
