Voice Choice: n+1’s The Internet: We All Live There Now

We’d like to think that we don’t actually live on the Internet—after all, there’s no such thing as an online shower . . . yet. But at this panel discussion titled The Internet: We All Live There Now, the editors behind literary magazine n + 1 aim to show us exactly how connected, for better and for worse, we are to the online world. In celebration of n + 1’s spring 2008 issue, the discussion features Mark Greif (n + 1 editor), Benjamin Kunkel (n + 1 founding editor and Indecision author), Caleb Crain (author of Sweet Grafton), and Moe Tkacik ( editor and former Wall Street Journal reporter) taking on topics such as YouTube and pornography, “the state of the blog,” and the self-representation of blog commenters. An audience Q&A session with panelists follows. At 7, the Kitchen, 512 West 19th Street, 212-255-5793,, $5 ELIZABETH THOMPSON
