It’s hard to imagine where you’ll be when the world ends. It’s even harder to think of what you would say . . . maybe because you’d want to say it all. Whisper, which first premiered in England, attempts to take you to the end (wherever that is)—and not figuratively speaking, either. Behind a cinematic screen and among three dark, shadowy figures is where you’ll encounter a dreamlike world that transports you through your past and present—yes, yours (as imagined by the artists, that is). With the use of special images, sound effects, and individualized headphones, the narratives are read in the second-person, taking you on a surreal journey that feels all your own
