Let the “Bob Dylan Is Playing at My House” jokes begin. He is, it’s worth remembering, a local of sorts, although he pretty much lives on the road—with his Never Ending Tour, now more than ever. By all accounts, the voice is nearly gone, but though the books, satellite-radio programs, biopics, gallery art shows, Pulitzer citations, and presidential endorsements (Obama, duh) pass the time, there’s nothing like seeing Bob Dylan in person. Tell Tale Signs, the eighth volume of his bootleg series, comes out in October—by then, if not by tomorrow, you’ll be regretting you missed this.
