Mobster Caught in Bronx Closet

Last month there was a “paperwork mix-up” at Brooklyn federal court, leading to the untimely release of mob informant Kenny “the Rat” Marino. Today the marshals caught up with Marino, WNBC reports, finding him in a closet in the Bronx. Marino has a long history of armed robbery and other crimes, which was not interrupted by his enrollment in the Witness Protection Program, leading to his dismissal from the program and re-incarceration in Brooklyn. U.S. marshals tracked Marino’s location via a getaway car. After his arrest, Marino reportedly paid tribute to the marshals, saying that “like pit bulls, they never give up.”
