Keith Olbermann is my pal. He booked me on his MSNBC show for years–until it became a huge hit. And now it’s up to you to decide–did the show stop using me because it’s a smash or is it a smash because they stopped using me?
Please! I am so kidding! I just know they will start having me on again like wildfire as soon as this silly election thing is over and they can go back to the serious topics like whether Suri Cruise exists and why Britney has hair now.
But anyway, none of this is is what I set out to talk about. I wanted to say that for several years now, the New York Post has been mercilessly bashing my Keith on a regular basis, trying to portray him as sleazy, nuts, and unredeemably arrogant. And he’s not! Au contraire! But if you want to know why that paper has it in for the guy, I’ve totally figured it out! The Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who also happens to be–newsflash–the man behind Fox! And Keith Olbermann is the biggest threat in Christendom to Fox News Channel and especially to his most loathed person there, loofah-loving Bill O’Reilly. So the Post scribes will do anything imaginable to try and discredit him.
Meanwhile, they only seem to be helping him become more legendary. He’s bigger than ever! But hopefully not so much so that he’ll never book me again, wah.
