Pop quiz: What movie features bowling, copious amounts of Kahlúa, and the word “man” (repeated 147 times)? If you answered The Big Lebowski, you’re ready to join the The Lebowski Fest, a tribute to the 1998 Coen brothers classic starring Jeff Bridges as the Dude, the ultimate SoCal slacker. If you’ve never seen the movie or just need to see it again for the millionth time, Saturday includes music by the Bee Gees cover band Tragedy and the Creedence Clearwater Revival as well as a re-enactment of a scene from the film (the landlord’s dance cycle) followed by a screening at Irving Plaza. On Sunday, have fun the Dude’s way with a bowling party at Lucky Strike Lanes, with costume and trivia contests. B.Y.O.A.F. (Bring your own acid flashbacks.)
